IELTS Writing · Academic · General Training
Two pieces in sixty minutes, at the pace of the real thing.
Task 1 and Task 2 sit in one session under a single 60-minute clock. Mismanaging that hour is itself a common way to lose marks, so practice has to carry the same pressure.

Assessment criteria
- TR
Task Achievement / Response
Did you cover everything the prompt asked for, with a clear position? This is the criterion that collapses first.
- CC
Coherence and Cohesion
Whether paragraphing and linking carry the reader, or linking words are simply stacked up.
- LR
Lexical Resource
Range and precision of vocabulary, and whether collocations sound natural.
- GRA
Grammatical Range and Accuracy
Variety of structures alongside error frequency. Playing safe with short sentences caps the band even when it is accurate.
What the mock test does
One 60-minute clock
Move between the two tasks freely, exactly as in the computer-delivered test. How you spend the hour is recorded too.
Real-format visuals
Task 1 material is generated per question, rotating chart types and topic areas in line with real exam distribution.
Band per criterion, with its basis
Each of the four criteria is scored separately and quoted against the descriptor band it matches.
A new question set every time
A prompt you have already seen is never assigned again. Memorised answers should not work here.
Writing PT scores are predictions derived from the official assessment criteria. They do not guarantee an official test result.
Scores rise on accurate diagnosis, not on more pages written.
